1099. SARS-CoV-2 Positive Pregnant Women Delivering in a Hospital From March 2020 – February 2021 in Three California Counties

Abstract Background Comparing outcomes of both symptomatic and asymptomatic hospitalized pregnant women with COVID-19 can inform the prognosis during hospitalization for relationship to pregnancy outcomes. Methods Using population-based surveillance data from Associated Hospitalization Surveillance Network (COVID-NET), chart reviews were conducted SARS-CoV-2 positive patients, age 15 49 years, residing in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco Counties California who delivered a hospital between March 1st 2020 February 28th 2021. Cases defined as if they had test or within 14 days prior admission. Multivariate analysis was used describe demographic characteristics, underlying medical conditions, vaccination status, by presence absence symptoms upon hospitalization. Chi-square tests assessed significance p-values < 0.05 considered statistically significant. Results Among 330 that hospital, 60.3% Hispanic Latino, 4.9% White (Non-Hispanic), 6.4% Black 6.7% Asian Pacific Islander, 0.9% multiracial, 20.9% unknown race ethnicity.
